Celebrate the season of gratitude with Herd of Turtles!

During this special November event, volunteers will gather with residents for an afternoon of familiar songs, rhythm instruments, conversation, and companionship.

The holiday season can be especially lonely for many older adults. By volunteering, you can help create an afternoon filled with warmth, inclusion, and joyful human connection.

No professional musical ability is required. Volunteers may sing, clap, play hand percussion, assist residents, begin conversations, or simply offer a kind and encouraging presence.

Together, we can remind residents that they are remembered, valued, and an important part of our community.

Volunteers should arrive approximately 30 minutes before the event for check-in, setup, and instructions.
