Celebrate the beginning of fall with Herd of Turtles!

Volunteers will join residents for an interactive afternoon of familiar music, hand percussion, conversation, laughter, and community. Together, we will help create a welcoming environment where our veterans living with dementia can sing, participate, and reconnect with meaningful songs and memories.

You do not need to be a trained singer or musician to volunteer. We need friendly, encouraging people who are willing to sing along, help residents use instruments, begin conversations, and make everyone feel included.

Herd of Turtles works to reduce loneliness in the elder community through music, joy, and genuine human connection. Every volunteer helps make that mission possible.

Please arrive approximately 30 minutes before the event for check-in, setup, and volunteer instructions.

Wear your Herd of Turtles shirt if you have one. If you do not have one, we will provide you with one.
